END OF TRIP

The fifth day. We were going back today and how sad it was. All of us got up early especially the kids as I told them the night before that they could spend time at the pool. I told my wife to take them as I planned to go to Kuta town centre for last minute shopping.

Pukul 11.30 pagi we left our room. The check-out process took less than 5 minutes. While waiting for the taxi which I had already pre booked, we sat at the lobby and enjoying the view of this beautiful resort for the last time. The journey to the airport only lasted for 10 minutes. Upon arrival we were approached by two porters. Nobody told us about this. We engaged them as we thought it was free only then to pay Rp25,000. Actually, we could ferry our luggage by ourselves to the check in counter as there were plenty of trolleys around.

We checked in all our luggage without having to pay any extra. We then proceeded straight to immigration and paid airport tax for Rp150,000 per person. Kedai-kedai memang banyak tapi tak digalakkan beli sebab mahal. So, make sure kalau nak beli souvenirs, belilah kat luar. Kali ni the flight departed on time (1355 hrs).

We reached KL LCCT ahead of schedule (around 4.40pm). After clearing the custom and immigration, we approached the taxi counter and this was where I had a shock of my life. Because there were 5 of us, they wanted to give us a mini van. Kat negara orang tak rasa tertipu tapi kat negara sendiri ...... huh! Prihatin masalah rakyat konon.... Porrrraaah!
